Razaqia Darbar

Razaqia Darbar is very old Darbar in my region and it has historical background. The big minaret of this Darbar is bigger than even historical minaret Minar - e - Pakistan. This Darbar is associated with a mosque aside to it. It is situated on the road with it's own name as Razaqia road.

Entrance

This is the entrance of the darbar or shrine. It is very tall. The entrance has beautiful marble tiles of white colours. At the top of the entrance there are two small minarets and three flat dome.

There are three doors in the entrance, a main door, and two small doors on sides. In the middle of the entrance there is a small room and a balcony. Sacred verses and words are written on specific parts of the entrance.

The entrance is higher than ground. There is always a caretaker at the gate who looks after the incoming and outgoing traffic.

Exterior of shrine

The shrine is very old you can say more than hundred years as I do not remember exact figure. It reflects the old architectural design but still very attractive. The shrine has rhombus shape.

At the top there is a big dome with walls with same theme as of the walls of the shrine. There are small minarets at the top of the shrine. Each corner has bigger one but others are smaller.

Door of Shrine

The shrine has two doors which are also old and traditional. These are heavy but made up of wood with automatic locks inside. It needs reasonable force to push and pull the door. At the top of the door the name of saint is written which is Abdul-Razzaq.

The shrine is very tall and here you can see the interior which also looks very tall. Each cm of interior is covered with smooth pieces stones. These are colourful stones with completely smooth surface. In the center there is a beautiful chandelier. On the walls some quotes are written.

Grave of Saint

This is the grave of saint Hazrat Baba Abdul Razaq. The grave is very big. I have not seen any such big and at height grave. There is a metal boundary around the grave. I was impressed with the big imama at the head side of the grave. The red shawl on the grave makes it look more unique.

Shelves to place Holy Books

Inside the shrine or tomb there is a dedicated place where shelves are installed. This is specific place which is a bit outward and the placement of the shelves make it look smooth and equal along with the walls. In this Holy Quran and other books are placed.

In the shrine there is an air conditioner. It is an old style air conditioner but very useful to maintain the temperature in the shrine. The drainage pipe is attached with it to extract the water from AC and send it to outside water bucket.

In the shrine there is a fragrance machine. It is like an injector. The fragrance liquid is filled in it. After some time the injector in the fragrance box objects some drops of liquid in the shrine to make it fragrant all the time. It is rechargeable.

Biggest Minaret

This is the biggest minaret in the whole area. When it was built it was the tallest minaret in whole Pakistan even taller than the most historical minaret Minare Pakistan which is in Lahore. Inside the minaret there are stairs which are used to climb upwards in the minaret. To climb upward at the balcony of the minaret permission is required.
