SLC-S31/W1-“Creative Interpretation| The Word (Invisible)”
Hello everyone!

Credit goes to @ninapenda
It started raining softly on the window. It was just like the tiny fingers asking to come inside. A girl was sitting by the glass window. She was watching the blurry lights of the city from the far away. The cars were moving and the people were laughing. The life was going on for all the people but not for her. She was feeling herself alone and invisible. No one was noticing her.
It was not because she was not there. But it was because that no one noticed her anymore. In the school her hands stayed raised. But no one called her name. And similarly at home her words were silent. Her words were lost between the louder voices. Even when she smiled it felt like the smile vanished before anyone could see her smile.
One evening she whispered to the rain that can you see me? She thought may be the rain can see, feel, and hear me.
The rain did not answer with the words. But the rain tapped the window and slid down the window slowly. It was just like the tears slid down the face. She placed her hand against the cold glass. She imagined that the rain was listening to her and she was feeling it.
It was the time that she realized something. She realized that being invisible does not mean that she does not has any value. She thought may be she was carrying more feelings and she was expecting more than the reality. She was thinking to get more attention and priority than the normal routine. There are some feelings that do not shine outside but these grow inside. These feelings include sadness, hope, and quiet strength and courage.
The very next day she did a small thing. She smiled at another girl. That other girl was also looking quiet. And this time she got a response. The other girl who was quiet also smiled.
For the first time in a long while she did not feel invisible in this world.
What does “Invisible” represent in my interpretation?
According to my interpretation the word invisible in this context shows the feelings of being ignored. It means being unseen by other people. Even you are present in the surroundings of the people. It shows how people can feel alone in the crowded world.
What emotion is connected to this piece?
The main emotion is loneliness. But slowly slowly it changes into the hope. It shows that even when someone feels unseen they can still find connection and the ways to live in this world.
If this interpretation had a color or sound, what would it be and why?
The colour would be soft blue. Because the blue colour represents the calm but a little sadness. It is just like the emotions of the girl.
If we talk about the sound then it must be soft and gentle. Because the rain is quiet and emotional. It shows the feelings which are hard to express in the words.
I would like to invite @shahid76, @solaymann, @chant to join this challenge.
