Watercolours from the Rideau River
Working on some new watercolours today ….
This was from a photo of the 1st snow here on the Rideau.
This is my process :
I start with a very light pencil sketch to indicate the horizon line, a few trees and the foreground.
I wet the paper and add some blue for the sky and water ….

I love watercolor painting for the quality of the colors and the transparency.
I especially loved the colors of early winter in your work; I could almost feel the cold 😄. Great job!
