The true beauty of our country is hidden in its villages. Away from the mechanicality of the brick and stone city, the village is like a piece of paradise. When I walk on the meandering paths of my village, the sweet smell of the soil and the gentle breeze remove all my fatigue. For me, the village means a kind of freshness and a fair of life.
​Natural beauty
The morning in the village begins with the sound of birds chirping. When you look around, you only see a gathering of greenery. When the rice fields on the horizon sway in the wind, it seems like a green sea is playing. The winding river flowing through the middle of the village, the rows of trees on the banks of the pond and the red sun in the afternoon—all together, it seems that nature has painted a picture here in its mind.
​People and lifestyle
The life of the people in the village is very simple but full of magic. The people here stand by each other in happiness and sorrow. Unlike in the city, no one is a stranger here. Farmers go to the fields with plows and yokes in the morning, fishermen cast nets in the river. Their hard work provides us with food. There is no artificiality among the people of the village, there is only genuine love and hospitality.
​Festivals and Culture
With the change of seasons in the village, the festive atmosphere also changes. During the Nabanna festival, the smell of new rice fills the air. The sound of pitha and puli fills every house. Besides, Baisakhi fair, boat races and playing Hadudu make rural life joyful. The joy of sitting in the courtyard in the moonlight and listening to stories from elders cannot be imagined in the city.

The modern facilities of the city may not be available in the village, but the peace of mind there is priceless. The village is our roots. There is no better place to breathe deeply in this mechanical world than the village. I love my village very much and want to return to this peaceful lap of the village again and again, despite the busyness of civic life.
