🏗️ The history of building a life: A piece of land

in CCS5 days ago
What caught my eye was not just an empty plot of land or soil. It was actually a place to sow dreams. Surrounded by greenery and brick and stone walls, this little piece of land in the middle seemed to be writing its own destiny. As far as the eye could see, there was a different kind of activity. Water and mud mixed with the color of the soil—what a mixed smell it all had. The workers were working. The sweat on their bodies and the exertion of their hands were noticeable. They seemed to know that this work was not just about building a structure, but about the future of many people.

I saw a tall structure (probably being used for piling), and the earth was being dug under it. Sand, stones, and rods were piled up. At first glance, many might say, ‘This is another building being built!’ But I know that in the folds of every rod, in every grain of sand, someone’s long-held hopes are hidden.
The old houses around stood as witnesses. They were watching how a new story was beginning. On one side, a touch of greenery, banana trees and weeds, maybe there was a small pond there once—but now times have changed. This tension between nature and the city is very clear here. On the one hand, green life is trying to maintain itself, on the other hand, people are trying to create a place for it to live.
When the daylight fades a little, this scene becomes more alive. When people return tired after work, this place still stands—ready for tomorrow's sunrise.

I think life is like that. In the game of breaking and building, we also create ourselves anew. This under-construction site reminds us of that—something new is created by removing everything old. And through this hard work, one day, sky-high dreams will rise. This scene is not just a picture, it is a symbol of change, a promise of the future
