A Day at the ZOO with Family.

Hello, my beloved fellow Steemians, how are you? I haven’t written anything for a long time. However, here I am, to share my travel experience with you. It’s a family tour to the National Zoo of Bangladesh.
It was a Friday. My son, my wife, my sister, her husband, and her three sons went to the zoo. We had a day-long picnic. So we reached there at 11.00am. There was not much of a crowd, as we expected. However, we bought the ticket and got into the zoo. The ticket price was ৳50TK per person.
I had a strong connection with this zoo. I spent two years as a zoo resident in my teenage days. I visited this zoo almost weekly. These are now just memories. It's almost 18 years ago. However, nothing has changed much. Oh, yes, there were a few changes, I will mention them later.

First case are seen at the zoo was a monkey case. Back then, there were a lot of monkeys there. But I saw very few now. Then we moved to the next case of egrets. As usual, a large case, a lot of birds, doing their job. Standing, hunting, sitting in peace. No panic. Next, we moved to the ostrich, Fox, Rhino's case. We moved to the elephant ground next. Our children enjoyed the rhino and Elephant much. These big and huge vegetarians are the blessing of the Almighty to us.

Later, we went to see Deer, Zebra, Giraffe, and Horse. Then it was prayer time. There was a mini Playground for children. My brother-in-law and I went to pray the Jumma prayers and the rest of the family was resting at the park.
After offering Jumma prayers, we sat down to eat in an open area surrounded by trees next to a lake. Many others were there with their families to have lunch. The place was originally prepared for this purpose. We rested for a while after eating there.

Then we started roaming around again. We then saw Bhutanese cows, pure water crocodiles, saltwater crocodiles, Sundarbans tigers, Indian lions, African lions, chitra deer, various types of monkeys, baboons, snakes, peacocks, and various types of birds. By then, it was evening and we came out.

The interior of the zoo has undergone many changes. The place has been greatly improved. Many places have been created for family travel and spending time. Delicious water has been arranged in various places in the zoo, which is absolutely free. Earlier, there were a lot of hawkers inside the zoo. That number has decreased completely. Cafes and restaurants have been arranged in various places. However the prices of food there are very high. But it is a good measure to keep the environment beautiful. All in all, we had a great time at the zoo. Especially our children had a great time with the animals.
