Bangladesh National Museum,Dhaka
Assalamu Alaikum,
First of all, I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the ccs community and the esteemed organizers of this week's Steam Atlas Travel Contest. Such a beautiful contest has provided a wonderful opportunity to showcase the history, culture and travel destinations of our own area to the world. Today, I am sharing with you a memorable travel experience with my family.
My travel destination: Bangladesh National Museum Dhaka |
|---|
Bangladesh National Museum is located in Shahbagh, Dhaka. Where countless artifacts, art and history created by humans over the ages have been preserved under one roof. That day, I went to visit with my husband, my daughter, my mother-in-law, my aunt-in-law and my aunt-in-law. The joy of traveling increases when the whole family is nearby, and that was the case that day too.
Ancient Dead Art Gallery First Touch of History |
|---|
The first place we saw upon entering was the gallery of the ancient pottery department. The hundreds of years old clay pitchers, pots, and jars, these were truly fascinating in design, shape, and color. It seemed as if the lifestyle of the people of ancient Bengal was unfolding before our eyes. My daughter was looking at each pot with great interest and asking various questions, which made the trip even more enjoyable.
The ancient royal bed is a perfect creation of art.
Then we reached the historic royal room, where a beautifully crafted bed was kept. The design, woodwork, and color of the bed indicated that it was used by a royal family. My family stood there for a while and took pictures. My husband was looking at that place very carefully because he loves history.
Traditional wooden cot - the beauty of the past |
|---|
In the next gallery, there was a beautiful traditional wooden cot. Although the design of the cot is simple, its structure and craftsmanship clearly show the beauty of the ancient houses of Bengal. My mother-in-law and aunt-in-law were very happy to visit this section. They said that they used to see such cots in their childhood homes and grandparents' houses.
The most beautiful memory of traveling with family
Visit each gallery of the museum. Learn something new, get acquainted with history. Everything was beautiful, but the most beautiful was the time spent with my family. My husband was by my side, my daughter was happy, and my mother-in-law, aunt-in-law, and aunt-in-law made the trip more lively. Such moments spent with the family are worth remembering forever.
Last words |
|---|
Bangladesh National Museum is not just a place to visit, it is a priceless treasure trove of our identity, history and heritage. For those who have not visited it yet, it is definitely a place to visit.
