A sea of clouds in Xi’an.
If you want to witness a sea of clouds without leaving the city, Lan’yue Pavilion is the place to go. Clouds drift over the Qinling Mountains as the sun sinks into the horizon, the afterglow of dusk so breathtaking that words simply fall short.
Remember—after a rainfall, once the sky clears, head straight to Lan’yue Pavilion. I promise, the view will leave you utterly astonished.
For a quieter and more rewarding vantage point, go to the east side of Lan’yue Pavilion. Navigate to the south gate of Aerospace City No. 2 Middle School; the spot lies about 100 meters southwest of the campus. Fewer people, perfect angles—and far better than the overcrowded main viewing platform.
