After the Rain, Flowers Bloom upon Old Walls
After the rain, the stone paths of Laomendong glisten softly. Trumpet vines spill from the old walls, their petals jeweled with delicate drops — like tears left behind by time. The air is thick with dampness and bloom, every footstep a whisper in the hush. Between grey tiles and mossed bricks, a single ray of sunlight breaks through, resting upon the orange petals — telling, perhaps, a gentle story of summer and forgotten dreams.
