In western Sichuan, Gedilamu stands as a celestial platform suspended in the clouds. This 360-degree panoramic viewpoint offers the closest and most breathtaking encounter with the sacred Qingrao Snow Mountain, while also framing the majestic Gongga and Yala peaks in the distance. At dawn, the golden sunrise bathes the summits in radiant light, turning the snow into a shimmering sea of gold. Though the rugged road is bumpy and demands an off-road vehicle, and crowds gather mainly for photos, the vast alpine panorama and overwhelming beauty of the snow mountains still call the soul back. Next time, I will return — drawn once more by this pure, lofty romance.
