Springtime at the Master of the Nets Garden | Where Blossoms Grace the Earth, and Crabapple Flowers Smile Upon the Spring Breeze

in CCS2 months ago

The crimson hues of the crabapple blossom carry endless charm —
like flowers and leaves dancing upon the breath of spring.

Another year, another season of blooming crabapples.
Today, at the Master of the Nets Garden,
I found myself utterly enchanted by their delicate beauty.
The drooping branches of the pink crabapple shimmered with grace —
so tender, so lively,
the very embodiment of gentle elegance.
That quiet bow of the blossom seemed to intoxicate both the breeze and the soul.
“Where blossoms grace the earth, crabapple flowers smile upon the spring breeze” —
perhaps this is what those words truly mean.

Outside the Songdu Shuxuan pavilion,
a quince crabapple in full bloom caught my eye —
white tinged with pink, radiant yet modest,
its beauty refined, pure, and graceful beneath the sunlight.

The Master of the Nets Garden is simply made for portraits in traditional attire.
I am often stunned by young women in flowing Hanfu,
their poise serene and refined,
their demeanor like that of Jiangnan maidens from a painter’s dream —
as though they have stepped out of an ancient scroll.
