I tried snow fungus soup
I’ve been seeing these recipes for using snow fungus, which is an edible fungus used in Chinese cuisine and traditional medicine, often used for its collagen-boosting and deep skin-hydration properties. It is rich in polysaccharides that can hold up to 500-1000 times their weight in water, acting as a natural, edible moisturizer.
I’m always into anything health related so I bought this and some red dates and lotus seeds to make a nice soup with some pumpkin and veggies.
I think I put too many red dates in as they actually have a rly strong flavour and are very fibrous I think I would minimise them next time.
