Survival Of The Fittest ▬ Leather-Back Sea Turtle
Leather back turtles are titled for their housing, which is leather-like rather than velar, like other turtles.

The leather back sea overturn Dermochelys coriacea, sometimes called the lute turtle or leathery turtle or only the luth, is the largest of all extant turtles and is the fourth-heaviest stylish vertebrate behindhand trey crocodiles. It is the only extant species in the genus Dermochelys and clan Dermochelyidae. It can easily be differentiated from different bodoni sea turtles by its want of a bony bombard, hence the appoint. Instead, its exoskeleton is clothed by tegument and oily flesh. Dermochelys is the exclusive existing genus of the kindred Dermochelyidae.

How The World Recognizes Leather Back Sea Turtles
Leather back sea turtle are the largest sea turtles on earth and having a size relative to a big grown man. In general, the type of these turtles are Reptilian and the diet they eat is carnivorous. Their average life is up to 45 years and their weight is up to 2000 lbs.

By Far The Most Travelling Animal ▬ Leather Back Sea Turtles
They are the largest sea turtle species and also one of the most migratory, water both the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Peaceful leather backs move from nesting beaches in the Coral Triangle all the way to the California seacoast to treat on the luxuriant jellyfish every summer and pitch. On an average they travel 3,700 miles and 6,000 kilometers.

Protection Status Of Leather Back Sea Turtles : Endangered
Only about 1 in a thousand leather back hatchlings survive to adult hood because of humans because consuming eggs and pacific populations have declined over the last twenty years from over harvesting and interactions with fisheries. Atlantic leather backs, with their long migrations across the ocean, put them at great risk of running into long line fisheries. Leather backs feed almost exclusively on jellyfish, making them susceptible to mistakenly swallowing plastic bags floating in the ocean, which can kill them.
Leather Back Sea Turtles Want's Families As Well
Leather back sea turtles mate with their female partner at the age of 6 to 10 years and 2 to 3 times a year.

Reproduction Depends On Weather
If the utmost temperature is 29.5 degree than both males and females are produced and higher and colder temperature vary from time to time in between male companions and female companions.
Leather Back Sea Turtle Life And Behaviors
- They usually live alone but get in groups to mate.
- They are mostly predators to jellyfish which is their main course.
- Their shells covers the most of their bodies.
- The inky blue carapace of the leather back is some what flexible.
