Daily Celestial Challenge By @Sirknight. Wednesday - Structure - The crooked house

What you are contemplating in these images is a real house built in 2004 and located in a small town located in the north of Poland called Sopot. With approximately 40,000 inhabitants and bathed by the Baltic Sea, Sopot is eminently a tourist place; It has a well-known spa and has the longest wooden pier in the world.

However, its main attraction and focus is "The Crooked House" which in English is called "Crooked House" and in Polish "Krzywy Domek".

It is considered one of the most rare houses or buildings in the world and one of the most representative symbols of postmodern architecture. None of the walls of the facade is flat, they all seem to twist and can be molded as if they were made of clay. It is a house madness that seems to come from a schizophrenic mind.

It has approximately 4,000 square meters and is located in one of the most important commercial streets of the city; Inside, there is a shopping center, a restaurant, a games room and a radio station.

The construction of this building was a great architectural challenge because it is difficult to combine something that looks like an optical illusion and a deformed reality with a real structure that remains standing.

The architecture studio that made the design was inspired by the drawings of two Polish illustrators whose work is characterized by its colorism and the use of deformed straight lines and twisted images.
