Dear Steemit team, I am delighted to apply for the Steemit Challenge Season 33.

Title: My Community, My Story

Blogging or content creation is all about exploring places so the audience can learn from, and in a platform like Steemit, where pictures and original content matter a lot, this challenge, if allowed to be conducted, would encourage a lot of Steemit users to explore and showcase important places, culture, activities, and everyday lifestyle in their communities through sharing of original pictures and storytelling.

Objective

The objective of this challenge is to encourage users to explore their surroundings, highlight local businesses, traditions, and the local culture, as well as their daily lifestyle. It also aims to create awareness about community challenges and opportunities and strengthen interaction among users from across the Steemit platform.

How Users Will Participate In The Challenge

The challenge will be made very simple and understandable throughout the 6 weeks, during which users will be required to do the following activities:

• Visit attractive places that need to be known for what the place has or for its challenges

• Participants will be required to provide information on the places. This information is: address or location and a Google map link, a Google Plus Code, and a Steematlas link.

• Participants will get to create a post about their places.

• Participants will have to provide at least four recent photos taken from their place.

• There will be no plagiarism, and the use of AI, as I will be very strict in checking participants' posts.

• The minimum number of words will be 300.

A Draft Schedule Of What I Would Do For Each Of The 6 Weeks.

The challenge will be split into 6 weeks to keep participants active and to make the challenge more organised and interactive. Below is how I have structured the challenge.

Week 1	A Need to Know Place Around Me	Participants will get to share an attractive or unattractive place in their area and state why the place needs to be known.
Week 2	My Culture Food Stall	Participants will have the opportunity to showcase the traditional food stall of their culture
Week 3	Transportation in My Area	Participants will explore the transportation systems in their place and talk about the challenges
Week 4	My Community Occupation	Participants will get to share what the community is into and talk about it.
Week 5	Festivals, Culture & Traditions	Participants will share about their culture and where it's held
Week 6	Challenges in My Community	Participants will get to talk about the challenges people are facing in their community and show pictures

From the above information, this challenge will be well presented for people across the Steemit platform to participate, which will further encourage original photography and create meaningful discussions among participants and their audiences.

The criteria for judging and grading participants' posts will be based on 10 points, which will be categorised as follows.

Review:

In my judging, I will focus on how well the participant explains their places, storytelling, experiences, content quality, and the use of original photos that have been recently taken will be put into consideration when reviewing participant entries.
