Solomon was both the wisest man who ever lived and the biggest fool whoever lived. Despite all his wisdom and all God had done for him, he abandoned God to follow the gods of his foreign wives. Because of it, God split the kingdom in two and tens of thousands died in the battles fought between Israel and Judah.
