I am spending my afternoon listening to an 87 year old man speak in a
language I do not understand. He is talking of power; of seeing things
that no man ordinarily sees; how to be hearing God's voice; and knowing
what to do with the words that are heard. He speaks of the Church being
of a new generation and how we care only what God want us to hear and
do. He speaks of Elijah, who lived thousands of years ago - before Jesus
Christ, and how each of us can also have that same anointing, ability.

He speaks of how the kings (and other leaders such as the President of
this country), can know ahead of time what other men (countries) are
planning in the future for good or evil. He speaks of how all men and
women can have this supernatural ability to see and hear into the future,
as well as know what is going on in the present too.

Every year, about 70 million people are born. The Big question is: are
these people all going to Heaven or Hell? Who will reach them, if not the
Church? The Church is made up of those who believe that Jesus died on
a Cross, that He was buried and then 3 days later, He rose again. But that's
not all. He is still alive today and we, as His Church, have the responsibility
to get these 70 million, per year, into Heaven, and not loose them to Hell.

We can become like Elijah, like Jesus and have that same faith that moves
mountains, that speaks to the lost and gets them saved. God wants more
Christians, who are true believers with a Relationship with the Holy Spirit,
not just a weekly church goer, who opens his or her Bible once a week
(during the Sunday service), but a believer who Knows the Bible; a believer
who Hears the voice of God and does as he/she hears; a believer who walks
a daily walk with our Lord; a believer who has some - if not all of the gifts
of the Spirit, spoken of in the 12th chapter of the Book of Corinthians.

If you are already a Christian and are sitting in a church that rarely speaks
the name of Jesus; rarely speaks of the "blood of Jesus," and who sit in the
pews have little idea who the Holy Spirit is, then it is time to move out of
that place and find the church that is teaching about the Bible, about the
Blood of Jesus and about the Holy Spirit. One that expects Christians to
surrender themselves to God and accept the gifts of the spirit.

Surrender yourself to God, and you'll hear Him speak to you. The Church
can not continue like it is - turning it's ears to the ground and not to words
of God.
