God is in Control
“Suddenly, there was a bright light in the cell, and an angel of the Lord stood before Peter. The angel struck him on the side to awaken him and said, “Quick! Get up!” And the chains fell off his wrists.”
Acts of the Apostles 12:7
How can we be sad if Christ is with us? Are we not worth more than birds and yet God sustains them? God is faithful! Your fidelity is forever. The only thing that He demands from his people is that we create him and believing implies obeying and trusting.
The way out of any circumstance is giving control to God because He has prepared the how, the when and the who. Do not let your hope, your joy, or your peace eclipse because you are a child of God. Let nothing diminish your faith. While God lives there is hope. He has control and will put an end to it until He decides.
However, these circumstances make us wonder if we really have the capacity to face persecution because of the word? To face death as well as martyrs? If someone is going through a difficult situation, think: we have not been tested until the blood.
- When God wants, He will act
Acts 12: 6-11 / Luke. 15: 11-32
When God wants to do something, He uses whatever He chooses. Even until the stones will use. Pedro was chained and sleeping, he was already resigned to what his destiny would be: death. But the Spirit of God moved in that place and his destiny changed. No matter what happens, God is with us.
As happened with the prodigal son, the angel woke him up and came back to himself. One day you will also do it and you will understand what God is doing. You will understand when the light of the gospel shines.
God has not called us to understand, but to obey. Pedro was lost and hopeless. The angel ordered him to put on his sandals because only the slaves walk barefoot. This represented returning to the status of son, while the mantle represents authority. God will do the rest: trust in Him! Your help comes when you think that everything is destroyed. Get dressed, because He is working!
- What does the believer lack?
Psalms 119: 18/2 Kings 6: 8-17 / Rom. 15:13
Open the eyes of faith!
There are times when the situation overwhelms our lives. We lose the capacity to surprise us of the bad because our society is in decline, but God opens our eyes of faith to see its wonders. There are spiritual beings that we can not see, but the Angel of Jehovah encamped around us. His grace manifests because He is the one who protects us.
Greater is he who is with you than he who is in the world. God is a God of hope: open your eyes! Do not let your hope in God subside. Believe it! The help of God is always at the right moment that you need it and He will free you from any situation that you have to live.
Are you attentive to what God is going to do?
Are you still waiting? Keep waiting!
God fills us with joy and peace when we trust in Him!
Good job!!
Thanks :)
It will be trite but with God everything, without it nothing. "open your eyes to faith" I liked it.
Thank you... God is good all the time
