5 Requirements of Prayer You Must Fulfill.

오늘은 '성령이 내주하는 기도의 5가지 요건'라는 제목으로 한번 생각해보도록 하겠습니다.
I would like to talk to you about requirements you must fulfill in order for the Holy Spirit to come.

아시다시피, 저는 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련사역을 하고 있어요.
As you know by now, my ministry is to train people to pray properly.

이 시대의 우리네 교회는 영접기도에 아멘하기만 하면 성령이 자동적으로 들어오신다고 가르치고 있지만, 성령이 들어오신 증거나 변화, 능력이나 열매에 대해서는 함구하고 있습니다.
The world today teaches people that the Holy Spirit will come to them as soon as they finish the acceptance prayer, but it never talks about the proof or changes the Holy Spirit brings.

말하자면 우리네 교회가 가르치는 교단 신학자의 교리는 관념적이고 모호한 이론에 불과합니다.
In other words, what churches teach people is a mere theory, something theologians study and create.

그러나 저의 기도훈련은 성령이 들어오셨다고 하면, 성경에서 보여주고 있는 증거나 능력, 열매가 분명하게 드러나야 합니다.
However, for my prayer training, the proof of the Holy Spirit should be obvious--things you would see in the Bible.

성령이 누구십니까? 전지전능한 하나님이시죠.
Who is the Holy Spirit? He's the God Almighty.

그러므로 성령 하나님이 내주하는 증거는 기적과 이적을 동반하는 증거는 필수적입니다.
So proof that the Holy Spirit is within you is a must have; God should be working wonders for you.

그러므로 저의 사역은 말장난으로 끝날 수가 없어요.
My ministry shouldn't just be empty words I spew out.

그동안 저는 15년이 넘는 세월을 통해서 수많은 기적과 이적을 체험하였으며, 2년 반전에 충주에 영성학교를 열어 기도훈련사역을 시작한 이후로 수백 명이 넘는 사람들이 기도훈련을 시도하였으며, 백여 명이 넘는 사람들이 성령이 갓 임재 하는 증거가 나타나서 졸업을 시켰으며, 전국각지에서 찾아온 백여 명이 넘는 사람들로 공동체를 이루어 주말이나 주일에는 발 디딜 틈이 없을 정도입니다.
For last 15 years, I have experienced countless miracles. For 2 and a half years since I have opened CSA, I trained hundreds of people to properly pray. Over 100 of them graduated as they showed proofs of the Holy Spirit's indwelling. I still have people come from all over the country, hoping to see miracles happening to them.

그렇다면 이들도 성령이 내주하는 기적을 직접 체험한 것을 물론이고, 이곳에서 일어나는 기적과 이적을 확인하는 것은 그리 어려운 일이 아닙니다.
All these people have experienced miracles; it is hard not to spot one when you're at CSA.

그래서 저의 인터넷의 칼럼과 유투브 동영상의 강의를 듣고 관심을 갖고 찾아오는는 이들도 적지 않죠.
There are also many people who come to CSA after reading columns online.

그러나 발품을 들여 충주영성학교에 직접 찾아오지 않더라도 성령이 내주하는 기도훈련을 할 수 있어요.
But you don't have to do all that. You can just train by yourself at home.

성령은 어디서나 계시며, 누구나 자신을 찾는 자녀들에게 찾아오시기 때문입니다.
The Holy Spirit is anywhere and everywhere, and he comes to people who look for him.

그러나 기도를 해보신 분들을 잘 알고 계시겠지만, 이 기도는 쉽지 않죠. 즉 성령이 쉽게 찾아오시지 않는다는 것이예요.
But people who tried to pray this way should know. It is really hard. The Holy Spirit doesn't come to people that easily.

마가 요한의 다락방에 모인 사도들과 120여명의 제자들은, 이미 3년 반이 넘는 예수님의 사역을 눈으로 보고 직접 경험한 사람들입니다.
The apostles and dicsciples who gathered at Mark and John's room upstairs were the ones who actually witnessed Jesus' ministry over 3 years.

그럼에도 열흘 남짓, 전심으로 성령이 내주하는 기도를 한 끝에 어렵사리 성령이 임재 하는 경험을 하게되었죠.
But even for them, it took about 10 days until the Holy Spirit came to them.

그런데 1분짜리 영접기도에 아멘하면 성령이 오신다는 것은 어불성설입니다.
It's nonsense to believe the Holy Spirit would come to you right away after you recite the minute-long acceptance prayer.

그래서 오늘은 성령이 임재 하는 5가지 필수적인 기도의 요건에 대해 알려드리고 싶습니다.
So I would like to talk about 5 Must To Do's for proper prayer.

1. 쉬지 않고 기도해야 합니다.
2. You must pray non-stop.

쉬지 않고 기도하는 것은 예수 그리스도 안에서 우리를 향하신 하나님의 뜻이죠. 데살로니가 전서 5: 18에 나와있어요.
It is God's will for us to pray continually in Jesus Christ. It says so in 1 Thessalonians 5: 18.

예수님도 깨어서 항상 기도하라고 하셨고, 사무엘은 기도를 쉬는 게 죄라고 잘라 말했어요.
Jesus commanded us to stay awake and pray. Samuel said it is a sin to pause from praying.

그러므로 쉬지 않는 기도의 습관을 들이지 않는다면 성령이 내주하실 수가 없습니다.
So you cannot ask the Holy Spirit's indwelling unless you pray constantly.

그러나 구체적으로 어떤 내용의 기도를 해야 하며, 기도의 강도나 빈도에 대해 정확하게 말해주는 사람이나 교회가 별로 없죠.
But no one tells you exactly how to pray, or what you should be praying about.

그러므로 스스로 기도훈련을 해서 성령과 동행하는 삶을 살고 있는 사람이 자신의 경험으로 말할 수 있을 것입니다.
You wouldn't really know what to tell others unless you have experienced the Holy Spirit living within you through prayer.

쉬지 않고 기도하는 습관을 들이려면 아침과 밤에 적어도 각각 1시간 이상 기도하여야하며, 낮에도 틈만 나면 하나님을 부르는 기도를 하여야 합니다.
If you'd like to get used to praying non-stop, you should take an hour in the morning and an hour at night to pray. You should also call God during the day, whenever you have time.

또한 기도의 내용은 하나님을 초청하는 기도입니다.
The content of prayer should be about inviting God to come to you.

그래서 하나님의 이름을 부르며 전심으로 성령의 내주를 간구하여야 합니다.
That's why you call his name and ask the Holy Spirit to live within you with all your heart.

하나님, 성령님, 예수님, 아버지, 주님 등으로 불러도 되지만, 구체적으로 하나님 내게 와주세요. 나를 다스려주세요. 통치해주세요, 아버지와 내가 하나가 되기 원해요, 등의 문장으로 기도해도 됩니다.
'God,' 'The Holy Spirit,' 'Jesus,' 'Father,' 'Lord,' etc. You may call him however you'd like. Or you could specifically say, 'please come to me,' 'please reign in me,' 'please govern me.' 'I would like to become one with you,' and so on.

통성으로 기도하거나 묵상으로 기도하거나 상관이 없지만, 오래 기도하려면 마음속으로 생각하면서 묵상으로 기도하여야 오래 기도할 것입니다.
You could pray outloud or quietly. It would be easier if you pray silently, though; your energy and focus last longer that way.

1. 전심으로 기도해야 합니다.
2. You must pray with all your heart and soul.

전심으로 기도하지 않는다면 성령이 오실 리가 만무하죠.
There is no way the Holy Spirit would come to you if you are not praying with everything you have.

그분은 우리의 마음이 진심으로 자신을 원하는 지를 불꽃같은 눈동자로 관찰하는 분이시기 때문입니다.
He sees through us, whether we truly want him to take over our lives.

그러나 우리네 교회는 새벽기도나 금식기도, 방언기도, 작정기도, 일천번제 기도 등 형식적인 기도의 방식만을 권면하고 있죠.
But churches today recommend us to attend various events they host but do not teach us the proper mindset we should have.

또한 기도의 내용도 자신의 탐욕을 채우거나 지난한 삶의 문제를 해결하려는 자기만족의 기도가 대부분입니다.
And the prayer they say as an example is usually a list of requests that they desire in this world, for their own greed and passion.

그래서 하나님의 응답이 내려오는 체험을 하고 계십니까? 이런 형식적인 기도로 탐욕을 채우려고 하기 때문에 하나님이 외면하시는 이유입니다.
Does God respond to those prayers? He probably turns and looks away, since the prayers people give are mere formalities than anything.

성경은 마음을 다하고 목숨을 다하고 뜻을 다하여 하나님을 구하라고 명령하셨고, 간절히 하나님을 찾아오라고 명하셨습니다.
The Bible tells us to pray with all our hearts, souls, and minds, and to seek his face desperately.

제가 그동안 수백 명의 사람들에게 기도훈련을 시키면서 얻어낸 경험에 의하면, 전심으로 기도하는 태도는 힘의 중심이 아랫배에 힘을 주고 심호흡을 들이키고 천천히 내쉬면서 하나님을 간절히 부르는 태도가 가장 좋은 효과를 내고 있어요.
From my experience, it would be easier if you flex your core, or abs, when you call out to God as you breathe out. That way, you can concentrate more on calling him.

여하튼 전심으로 기도하려고 힘쓰지 않는다면 기도가 아니라 자기만족의 신앙행위에 불과할 것입니다.
If you do not put all your heart into praying, you are not praying; you are doing nothing but an act of self-contentment.

1. 믿음을 보여야 합니다.
2. You must show faith.

성경에는 믿고 구하는 것마다 얻은 줄로 믿으라고 말씀하고 계시고, 예수님은 겨자씨만한 믿음이라도 기적이 일어나며 못할 것이 없다면서 단호하게 말씀하셨죠.
The Bible tells us to ask and believe we will receive, and Jesus had said there is nothing we can't ask for, if we have faith as small as a mustard seed.

그래서 믿음이 있다고 당연하게 여기는 교인들이 왜 응답을 경험하지 못하고 있을까요? 그 이유는 믿음이 없기 때문이예요.
Then why do people who claim to have faith not get their prayers answered? It is because they have no faith.

하나님이 기도하는 것마다 응답해주신다면, 기도할 때뿐만 아니라 일상의 삶에서도 전혀 걱정하거나 염려하고 의심해서는 안 되죠.
If God DOES answer every prayer, you must not doubt no matter what.

그러나 사람들은 자신이 원하는 기간에 응답이 내려오지 않으면 의심, 불안, 두려움, 좌절, 절망 등에 쉽게 빠집니다.
But people become anxious and give in to feelings of doubt, worry, fear, and despair, if they don't get their prayers answered fast.

이런 부정적인 생각은 죄다 하나님을 믿지 못하는 불신앙입니다.
All these negative thoguths cause you to be faithless.

불신앙은 커다란 죄인데, 어떻게 기도응답을 기대할 수 있을까요?
Being faithless is a great sin; how can you expect your prayers to be answered if you don't have faith?

그러므로 성령의 임재가 더디 오더라도 절대로 의심하거나 좌절해서는 안됩니다.
So don't doubt or give up, even if the Holy Spirit doesn't seem to listen or come to you in time.

성령께서는 제게 혹독하게 기도하는 지와 인내심을 가지고 기도하는 지를 살펴보신다고 말씀하셨어요.
The Holy Spirit told me that he sees and waits to see if the people patiently pray with everything they have.

혹독하게 그리고 인내하면서 기도하는 게 바로 하나님이 살아계시고, 자신을 간절히 부르는 자녀에게 찾아오신다는 믿음을 보이는 행위입니다.
Praying desperately and waiting patiently for him to reveal himself is the way to show your faith to God.

그러므로 절대적인 믿음을 보이지 않는 사람은 성령의 내주를 경험할 수 없을 것입니다.
You won't be able to feel the Holy Spirit's presence unless you show him your absolute faith.

1. 죄와 싸워 이겨야 합니다.
2. You must fight against sins and win over them.

죄는 하나님이 싫어하는 생각과 성품, 말과 행동을 총망라하는 말입니다.
A sin is anything and everything that God hates, including thoughts, characters, words, and actions.

그러므로 성령이 내주하는 기도를 하려면 하나님이 싫어하는 죄와 피터지게 싸워서 이겨야 하죠.
So if you'd like the Holy Spirit to dwell within you, you must fight against sins. And you have to win over them.

그러나 대다수의 크리스천들은 죄에 대한 인식과 경계심이 별로 없습니다.
Unfortunately, most Christians are not too sensitive about sins these days.

영접기도를 하고 주일성수를 하고 있으므로 구원을 기정사실화하고 있는데, 굳이 죄를 들추어내서 심기를 불편하게 할 필요가 없기에 말입니다.
They don't see the need, since they are attending Sunday services and recited the acceptance prayer. It is not necessary to dig up old sins and make themselves uncomfortable.

그러나 하나님은 죄를 싫어하시며 죄인을 가까이 하실 수 없는 분이십니다.
But God hates sins, and he does not keep sinners by his side.

그러므로 예수 그리스도의 보혈을 의지하여 죄를 회개하고, 날마다 죄와 피터지게 싸워야 합니다.
Therefore, you must plead the blood of Jesus and repent your sins and fight against them daily.

그럼에도 죄를 인지하지 못하는 분들을 위해 손쉽게 짓는 죄의 목록을 말씀드릴게요.
For people who cannot recogize sins easily, let me tell you the list of sins people easily commit.

탐욕과 방탕이 가장 쉽게 짓는 죄이며, 돈을 사랑하며 자기를 우상으로 삼는 사고방식도 죄이고, 쉬지 않고 기도하지 않는 것도 죄입니다.
Greed and debauchery are the easiest sins to commit. Loving money and putting it before God is a sin. Not praying continually is also a sin.

또한 걱정, 염려, 불안, 두려움, 좌절, 의심, 절망, 미움, 시기, 분노, 싸움, 갈등, 불경건, 교만, 거짓말 등, 생각으로 죄를 짓고 말과 행동으로 죄를 짓는 게 상상할 수 없을 정도로 많아요.
Worry, fear, despair, doubt, envy, jealousy, wrath, argument, rage, conflict, pride, lie.... There are countless sins that you can commit by just thinking, speaking, and doing.

그러므로 이런 죄를 깨닫고 죄와 싸우지 않는 사람들은 하나님을 만날 생각을 하지 않는 게 좋을 것입니다.
So please do not even think about meeting God without fighting against all these sins.

1. 귀신을 쫓아내야 합니다.
2. You must chase away demons.

우리네 교인들은 하나님을 잘 아는 데 귀신에 대해서는 무지하죠.
Christians today know very well about God, but they are ignorant about demons and what they do.

귀신들은 지구를 덮고 있을 만큼 많은 수효이며 교회 내에도 우글우글하게 운집하고 있습니다.
Demons exist in great numbers, and a lot of them dwell in churches.

또한 세상 사람은 물론 교인들도 거침없이 안에 들어와 잠복하고 자신들의 생각을 넣어주어 조종하고 있죠.
Also, a large number of them go into people's minds and put their thoughts into them, controlling Christians as well as non-believers.

귀신들이 넣어주는 공격은 죄다 죄를 짓게 하는 것입니다.
All thoughts demons give you will lead you to sin.

그러므로 죄를 짓고 있다면 귀신들이 쳐 놓은 덫에 걸려들고 있다고 보면 틀림없죠.
If you sin, that means you walked right into demons' trap they've set up.

귀신들이 잠복한 증거는 정신질환과 상당수의 고질병에 걸려서 낫지 않으며, 그리고 알코올 중독을 비롯한 각종 중독에 빠져들고, 가족이나 직장과 이웃 등 가까운 사람들과 갈등과 싸움 끝에 이혼하고 원수로 변하며, 각종 불행한 사건 사고가 끊임없이 일어나고, 극심한 가난에 시달리고 악성부채를 지고 지옥 같은 삶을 사는 것 등입니다.
People with demons within usually suffer from mental disorders and other incurable, chronic illnesses. They often show addiction, alcohol being the prime example. They also suffer socially, having problems with family members or at work. All things unfortunate would happen to them, including accidents and misfortune, poverty, and massive debts.

이런 사람들은 자신과 가족 안에 귀신들이 잠복하고 공격하여서 삶과 영혼이 초토화된 상태라고 보면 됩니다.
These people have their souls and lives reduced to ashes, and all is done by demons.

그러나 이 모든 시작은 생각으로 죄를 짓게 하여 말과 행동으로 죄를 짓기 시작했기 때문이죠.
But the cause of everything started with a thought--a thought of sin, no matter how small, will spread to words and actions.

죄를 싫어하지 않으며 죄를 추구하여 죄인이 되면, 하나님이 떠나시며 귀신들의 포로가 되어 지옥을 경험하며 살게 됩니다.
If you don't mind sins, or constantly sin voluntarily, God will leave you; you will become demons' hostage and experience Hell in your life on Earth.

그러므로 성령이 내주하는 기도를 하려면 생각으로 들어오는 죄와 피터지게 싸워서 이기며, 말과 행동으로 죄를 짓지 말아야 할 것입니다.
So if you'd like to pray properly, you need to conquer sins that comes through your thoughts, so that you would not carry them out in action.

위 5가지 사항은 성령이 내주하는 기도를 하기 위한 필수적인 여건들입니다.
So these 5 things are qualities you must have, in order for the Holy Spirit to come and touch your life.

그러나 성령과 동행하는 기도의 습관을 들이지 않는다면, 이 땅에서 지옥을 경험하다가 영원한 지옥의 불 못에 던져질 것입니다.
If you don't make a habit of praying daily, you will experience hell while you are on Earth, and then be thrown out to the eternal fires of Hell.
