If there is no resurrection, our faith in Christ Jesus is futile (1 Corinthians 15:17).
The main purpose of serving Christ is not of this world—our hope is life after death (Philippians 3:20).
If there is no life after death, Christianity would be meaningless:
30 AND WHY DO WE STAND IN JEOPARDY EVERY HOUR? 32 If, in the manner of men, I have fought with beasts at Ephesus, WHAT ADVANTAGE IS IT TO ME? IF THE DEAD DO NOT RISE . . . .”
