STRENGTH IS ORDAINED OUT OF THE MOUTH OF CHILDREN

"OUT OF THE MOUTH OF BABES AND NURSING INFANTS YOU HAVE ORDAINED STRENGTH, Because of Your enemies, That You may silence the enemy and the avenger.”
Psalm 8:2 (NKJV)

• God speaks through the children. He has ordained strength through the mouth of babes and nursing infants.

• Babes and nursing infants are tender and their spirits are sensitive to God. In fact, the Scripture says their angels behold the face of God the Father in heaven (Matthew 18:10). God usually speaks through them, do not despise their words.
• As a believer, you should have a family altar in your home; where your spouse and children join together with you to worship God—share the Word of God together and present things bothering the family and others to God in prayer.
• Teach your children how to study the Word of God. Buy for each one of them a copy of the Bible, if they do not have.
• As they grow in the knowledge of the Word of God, give them the opportunity to share whatever they are learning from the Bible. You surely would be amazed to hear what they share, God speaks through the children.
• You have a responsibility to train your children in the way of the Lord that they may not depart from it when they grow up: "TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT" (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV).

• As you are a child of destiny or purpose, your children are also.

• You should pray for them and with them in helping to discover God's plan or purpose for their lives.
• In a number of cases, God's plan or purpose is not always far from what someone is wired or enabled to do.
• Through your counsel and your experience in your years of walking with God, you can prayerfully guide them to know and discover God's plan or purpose for their lives.

• That being said; the place of teaching them the Word of God is one, whilst the place of prayer should also not be neglected. You pray for them to direct and shape their lives for the future that God has for them.

• Another thing is that a number of people, believers, want their children to be godly or live for God; but they as the parents are not walking in line with the Word of God, the Bible—thus, the children have nothing good to emulate or learn from them.
• Parents are the first set of people to have direct influence on their children before any other person could do. The foundation of whatever the children would learn would be from you.
• If the children would be yieldable and gravitate towards the things of God, it would all start from what they see their parents doing.
• When my children were still small, they are not forced to do certain things because they see it as the normal things to do in the family.
• Whenever I'm writing, my daughter then would also want to write, striving to collect the pen or be given her own pen, even when she was yet to know how to write. Likewise, in reading of the Bible or whatever. They also would want to read, because they often see me reading the Bible and other books.
• The truth is, what your children see you doing, they also would want to do.

• Several years ago, when I was still unmarried. I used to have a neighbour who drinks and smokes and womanises. Though he was married, yet, he still fools around with other women apart from his wife.

• One day, the daughter saw him smoking, She said; My daddy I want to smoke cigars. The father shouted on her, shut up, do not say that. But this is a small girl of age three or thereabout who does know what it means to smoke. She just saw that her father usually smoked, she definitely thought that smoking is a good thing. If the man knew it was not good and would not want his daughter to copy that, Why was he doing It, even at home in the presence of his children.

• The truth is, a child would not just turn good and be well-behaved if that was not seen or found in the parents lives.

• If a child is rebellious to the things of God, or rebellious to one of the parents, he or she must have seen it in the life of the other parent or partner.
• A minister of God said he honours and hold his father in high esteem so much, he said that stems from how he sees his mother treating and relating with his father. So, all the children, himself and other siblings, had reverence for their father because they could see their mother doing that.
• Like I said earlier, the formative stage of a child is always with the parents, especially the mothers. If they did pick wrong things or characters from the mother or father, that usually stays with them till they grow up, except they are encountered by God as they are growing up.
• This is the reason why the Bible says If a child is taught the way to go, he or she would not depart from it when they grow up: "TRAIN UP A CHILD IN THE WAY HE SHOULD GO, AND WHEN HE IS OLD HE WILL NOT DEPART FROM IT" (Proverbs 22:6 NKJV).
• The training of a child being talked about here is not about what you tell or teach the child verbally to do alone, but things that the child observed in your life as he or she is growing up in their stay with you. Children learn more through observations than what you tell or teach them to do!

• Thus, If praise would be perfected through the mouths of your children, live a good and godly life through which they can emulate godly character through what they see or observe you doing (2 Timothy 3:14,15; Philippians 4:9).

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.

• Should there any sickness in your body, receive your healing now in Jesus' name.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. As you took the steps A and B your name is written in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
