Focus: The Values of a Relationship

WORD FOR TODAY
What you believe about yourself will only be challenged in relationship. It is a tool in the hand of God to check your growth, maturity and also to reveal your real personality!!!

Scriptural Reference
"The LORD God said, "It is not good for the man to be alone. I will make a helper suitable for him." (Genesis 2:18).

Every man you come in contact with in relationship is your helper. You cannot accurately determine if you are cruel, proud, selfish, covetous, kind, caring, loving and generous until you come into a relationship. Your faith is baseless until it becomes validated under the atmosphere of relationship.

God places much value on our relationships. He debunks the fact that a man claims to love Him at the expense of His fellow brother (1John 4:20). He rejects every gift or service rendered to him at a time you are not at peace with your brother (Matthew 5:24).

The Lord sees a man who cannot provide for his own home in marital relationship as the worst infidel (1Tim 5:8). If it will be well with a child and live long to enjoy the goodness of the Lord on earth; he must honour his Parents and establish good relationship with them (Eph 6:1-3). Also, He considers a peaceful relationship with men as a pre-requisite for holiness required for heaven making (Heb 12:14).

To be what God wants you to be at all levels of life you must submit yourself and grow in relationship (marital, discipleship, parental, career,

I did once seriously think of embracing the Christian faith. The gentle figure of Christ, so full of forgiveness that he taught his followers not to retaliate when abused or struck, but to turn the other cheek - I thought it was a beautiful example of the perfect man.
