GREEN ASSETS WALLET LAUNCHED ON CHROMIA

Afer two years of intensive development and dedication with guidance from green finance experts, capital market actors, and technology engineers, the Green Assets Wallet is finally being launched on the Chromia Mainnet. Green Assets Wallets will debut as the world’s first blockchain platform for validation and impact reporting of green bonds. This release event was hosted in Stockholm on December 12 with close partners of the Green Assets Wallet Green Assets Wallet (GAW) is the result of a unique consortium of leading capital market actors and technology innovators formed under the lead of Stockholm Green Digital Finance.

WHAT IS GREEN ASSETS WALLET?

The Wallet was developed to deliver efficiency and transparency to the green debt market in support of scaling the supply of, and investment in, credible green investment opportunities through cost-efficient and immutable validation and reporting of green impacts.

MISSION OF GAW

The Green Assets Wallet’s mission is to help accelerate the market for green investments in support of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals and the objectives of the Paris Agreement.

The objective of the technology is to support scaling of the green debt market by bridging green investors with potential investment opportunities through cost efficient and immutable validation and reporting of green commitments and impact.
