SteemAtlas Pin – My Filming Location
My filming location is a traditional Orsh Biryani shop, famous for its renowned Chattogram-style Orsh Biryani recipe. During the last ten days of Ramadan, some worshippers from the local area stay at the mosque to observe Itikaf. I felt a desire to provide them with something for Iftar, which is why I went to buy Orsh Biryani.
It's located in Bypass road, Fouzdarhat. As a food shop offering several varieties of Biryani, its specialty in traditional Chittagong Orsh Biryani makes it a favorite recipe for everyone in our area. While buying the food, I captured the recipe in my silent video. I believe this aligns perfectly with my intention of feeding others.
Micro-Film Video – Silent Story
In this micro-film, I recorded the Mostofa Orsh Biryani shop along with its recipe. I had planned to capture the moments while distributing the food, but since it was almost time for Iftar, I couldn't take those footages.

Description – “What is the silent story?”
My silent film features the Mostofa Orsh Biryani shop, where a staff member is seen packing parcels from a large pot. I took a close-up shot of the Biryani in the large pot so that everyone can see the recipe clearly.
Additionally, I took a full footage of the shop so viewers can see the place. After the food was packed, there is a final footage of me and my friend making the payment via bKash, showing that online payments are accepted here.
Why I chose this location:
To be honest, my plan was to capture the entire journey: the shop, traveling to buy the food, the packing process, the payment, and finally, the moments of distributing the food to those in Itikaf at the mosque. I wanted to build a perfect story, which is why I chose this location.
Unfortunately, while I successfully captured the first part, I couldn't film the distribution at the mosque because there was very little time left for Iftar, and I was busy serving the food.
What emotion or message I wanted to communicate visually:
Through this video story, I wanted to show that doing something for others or feeding people brings a sense of self-satisfaction. I performed this act with a noble intention, solely to earn the pleasure of the Almighty. The Creator is pleased when we feed or help others, and I wanted to communicate this message through my video.
How the viewer can understand the story without dialogue:
Even though I couldn't include the mosque segment, I tried to maintain the flow of the video by showing the overall view of the shop, a close-up of the recipe I bought, the moment of packing, and finally, taking out phone for payment. These elements will help viewers easily understand that I purchased a special recipe from a food establishment. Had the mosque part been included, the purpose behind buying the food would have been even clearer.
Regardless, I have shared the moments up to the purchase in my silent video. Although I have explained my purpose in the post, making this silent film gave me a deep sense of self-satisfaction, as my intention was to please the Almighty by bringing joy to others.

In a hotel, many waiters were packing Birani together. I really enjoyed watching this scene in the video. In fact, if many people can do any work together, then those tasks become much easier. So thank you very much for capturing such a beautiful Birani packing scene in the hotel through the video.
