Hello Steemians,

Welcome to Week 5 of CineAtlas 60, our filmmaking map challenge built on:
Speem.watch (video) + SteemAtlas (map pin).

In Week 1, you introduced a place with a One Take Intro.
In Week 2, you told a story using exactly 3 shots.
In Week 3, you explored silent visual storytelling.
In Week 4, you turned an ordinary object into a character.

Now in Week 5, we move into one of the most dynamic tools in cinema:

movement.

A path, a walk, a ride, a chase, a follow, a slow reveal — movement can transform a simple location into a living cinematic moment.

Theme of the Week: Movement Scene — “Let the Camera Travel”

The title of Week 5 is “Movement Scene”.

Your mission is to create a 20–60 second micro-film built around a clear sense of movement.

This movement can come from:

  • the camera moving
  • a person moving
  • an object moving
  • or all of them together

The important point is this:

movement must be the heart of the scene.

This week is about direction, rhythm, flow, and visual energy.
A road, corridor, sidewalk, staircase, bridge, beach path, alley, market lane, or railway platform can all become powerful cinematic spaces when movement guides the story.

Mandatory Platforms / Video Requirement (Curation Note)

Important Steemit curation requirement:

Since curation is done only on steemit.com, your video must be directly viewable on steemit.com to be counted for curation.

Therefore every entry must include:

  • Speem.watch link (primary upload)
  • A second link viewable on steemit.com (recommended: YouTube)
  • IPFS-only links will not be accepted for curation

What Your Post Must Include

Every valid entry for Week 5 must contain four key elements:
a SteemAtlas pin, a movement-based micro-film, a short description, and weekly engagement.

1. SteemAtlas Pin – Your Path of Movement

Open SteemAtlas and place a pin on your filming location (public / safe place).

In the pin description and your post, explain clearly:

  • City + country
  • What kind of place it is (street, park path, bridge, corridor, beach road, station, market lane, etc.)
  • Why this location works well for movement
  • What direction or journey the viewer will feel in your film

Choose a place where movement feels natural, visible, or expressive.

2. Micro-Film Video (20–60 seconds) – Movement Scene

Create a 20–60 sec micro-film in which movement is central.

Week 5 rule:

Your scene must include a clear cinematic movement.

This could be:

  • walking forward
  • following a subject
  • moving toward an object
  • revealing a place through motion
  • a moving bicycle, car, train, bird, waves, crowd, or shadow
  • a camera pan, tracking shot, or handheld travel movement

You may use:

  • one take or multiple cuts
  • ambient sound or music
  • subtitles if needed
  • slow or fast rhythm

The key is that the viewer should clearly feel motion as the main storytelling force.

Your video must include:

  • ✅ Speem.watch link
  • ✅ YouTube (or any Steemit-embeddable player) link

3. Description – “What is moving in your scene?”

Write a short description explaining:

  • What is moving in your film
  • Why you chose this location
  • What kind of cinematic feeling you wanted to create
  • How movement helps tell your story or emotion
  • Whether the movement comes from the camera, the subject, or both

Add at least 4 photos from the area to improve presentation.

4. Engagement Twist – Shot Breakdown Comments

Each participant must comment on at least two Week 5 entries with a Shot Breakdown:

  1. Confirm the weekly technique: Movement Scene
  2. Mention your favorite moment with a timestamp
  3. Give one constructive suggestion (camera control, rhythm, framing, stability, direction of movement)

Simple “nice video” comments do not count.
