CineAtlas 60 | Week 3 — Silent Film | [Market Square New Karu, Abuja]
From my photos and video which I have shown, a shopping environment in Abuja, known as Market Square Abuja. In my video, I introduce the location where the activities of shopping usually take place in the city where I am currently staying.
What is happening in your silent film
In my silent film, I didn't just show people visiting the shopping complex to buy something I also show myself visiting the complex to buy items. My video begins with a wide view of the shopping environment and the parking area, where cars are parked in front of the plaza. My story represents the present experience of people going out to shop, showing the environment and the place where everyday activities happen in my town.
Why did you choose this location
I chose this location because it is a lively and familiar shopping location where people go to buy groceries and other items daily. The environment clearly represents community activity and daily life. Using a real shopping center in my city will help my viewers or anyone who comes across this post to recognise the setting and connect with the experience of how life is in my city.
What emotion or message did you want to communicate visually
The simplicity of everyday life and normal activities is the emotion I wanted to communicate visually. Shopping or buying items is something that a lot of people do regularly, so the video highlights the ordinary moments that people can relate to. The message I wanted to communicate visually is that even simple daily routines, like going to the market, can tell a story visually.
How can the viewer understand the story without dialogue
Viewers can understand the story through images, write-up, and visual clues like the parked cars, the shopping plaza, and the store entrances. These elements all show that the activity taking place is a shopping plaza. Also, the environment, camera angels and my movement with that of others can help viewers to understand the situation even without any spoken or written words.

Dear, you have shown a square in your country called Abuja Market. I really liked the market after watching the video. The place you have shown is very important for making silent films. There is a car parking facility in front of the market. It will be easy to shop from the market for making films. Your video and pictures were very beautiful and meaningful. Best wishes for your challenge post.
Thank you sir for watching the video and going through my post.

You seem to be enjoying your market trip between 20th to 24th second.
I guess a musical clip without words could be a better choice but overall a nice job.
By joining today's contest, you shared with us about a very beautiful shopping mall, which was very nice to see. I really liked the way you shared everything here, and at the same time, the way you portrayed everything here is absolutely amazing.
According to your presentation, the place is very spacious. The place could have been livened up with a few more pictures. It was interesting to see the cars of the same color lined up on the road. However, I was disappointed at the end of the video when I noticed that the video ended two seconds after entering the market. I was very interested in seeing some more moments inside the market.
Good luck in participating in the competition.
I had to end the video based on the challenge rules sir. Thanks for your support
Hola, amiga. Linda publicación.
Saludos cordiales.
Your silent video has said a lot about the shopping plaza, and I can see how busy the plaza is. Good luck to you.
Thank you.
