什么给孩子选择了，什么尊重孩子意愿了，什么跟孩子谈判了，这些用在我家老二身上都不灵。

Bad advice - these all empower an unruly child. The only choice is "do as you please and suffer the consequences including being ignored" or "listen to mom".
