China's self driving vehicles test in Xiongan New Area

China's Internet giant Baidu recently has tested its self-driving vehicles on the public road in northern China’s Xiongan New Area. The self-driving vehicles sensed their surrounding with lidar, and were controlled by smart devices installed on the vehicles. Four to six self-driving vehicles will be put on the road in the second half of the year.
