I have not drank Kona Coffee for long that almost (almost) forgot how it tasted like.
I still remember the aroma and also, some Kona coffee grower on the Big Island when used to tour the Big island to sell art.
To me, Kona coffee is like the lighter version of any kind of US mainland or Italian type coffees. And what I like about coffees from Hawaii is they pair/mix it up with macadamia nut, or vanilla type flavors.
I forgot about other flavors...macadmia nut and vanilla.
