The $1 a month fee isn't bad, but if you just set a $10 per week purchase you would save that fee. Every $1 counts when your investing trying to earn a rate of return.

For those that can't be disciplined enough to just invest that $10 or $20 a week then this sounds like a reasonable option that isn't to expensive.
