A nurse's heart-touching smile during hospital rounds
Hello #steemit team,
This is @alfazmalek from #India,
I opened my eyes a little early in the morning today. A light cool breeze was blowing outside and I just lay there for a while. Then I got up and made tea it is my daily habit to start the day with morning tea. Had some breakfast with tea, then started getting ready in a hurry to go to the hospital.
When I reached the hospital it was time for the round. There was a crowd of patients in the ward everyone was busy with their own problems but When I went inside I saw a nurse talking to her patient with a very smiling face. The patient was lying on the bed and the nurse was explaining something to her both of them had smiles on their faces. Seeing that moment my heart became lighter. Sometimes just a little sight like that makes the day. I felt this is the real beauty of our work.

There was a conference named GUJSICON in the afternoon. When I reached there, there were people everywhere. Senior doctors, nursing teachers, everyone was engaged in some discussion or the other. A presentation was going on inside the hall, many new things were heard. Noted down some points so that I can tell them to the team later. Met some old friends in the afternoon, everyone had tired faces but also had smiles.
As evening approached the weather changed completely. Suddenly a strong wind blew and then it started raining. At first it seemed like it would just take a little while but then the water didn't stop. The stalls that were set up in the grounds outside the conference were completely covered in mud... Water was spread everywhere, people were walking with their shoes off. The atmosphere had become a bit strange.

Meanwhile my friend slipped and fell. He was laughing but when he picked it up, he saw that his leg was swollen. I handled her and said let me drop her home. It was becoming difficult even to reach the car, there was water in potholes all around. Somehow drove the car and dropped him at his house. When I reached there I saw that my leg was a little swollen. I told him to apply cold water and rest. He smiled and said, “Next time I will not go to such a field.” We both laughed.
It was still raining while returning. There was water on the roads, the glow of the lights was shimmering through it. The whole day went through my mind. The peace of the morning, the moment of the ward, the rush of the conference and the evening rain. Although the day was tiring, every moment taught us something.
Sometimes it seems that life is like this a little messy a little peaceful. Today was just like that, tiring but memorable.

I really liked your reflection on nurses. Sometimes their work is not appreciated and not given the importance it deserves. This girl, while caring for her patient, did so with love and joy, a smile that brightened up the room and showed you that everything can be okay.
Have a good day, buddy, and let's hope there are no more chaotic days, but many memorable ones.
