Homemade Ginger Chili Ketchup
I am thrilled to be a participant of Week 03 of Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 27. The theme of this week is indeed thrilling as I will be presenting how to prepare the Ginger Chili Ketchup, which is a tasty and spicy homemade ketchup sauce that gives any food the ideal touch.
Ginger is an antibiotic; eating it increases our immunity and is very beneficial for our bodies. Tomato ginger chili ketchup is suitable for us to eat because it is more delicious and beneficial than the ketchup from outside.
List all the ingredients used in making ginger chili tomato ketchup along with their correct quantities.
To have a required quantity of each ingredient,I went to Market and use measuring scale the buy the ingredients below. Having accurate measurement help to achieve a smooth and lovely taste of our Ginger Chilli ketchup.

| Red Chili | 1/2 teaspoon |
| Sugar | 50 grams |
| Green Chili | chopped 1 Tbsp |
| Cooking oil | 2 Tbsp |
| Water | Half Cup |
Write the complete step-by-step method of making ginger chili tomato ketchup.
In a clean dry bowl,I poured in they require quantity of fresh tomatoes. I added enough water and wash my tomatoes properly.
I used knife and chopped my tomatoes into smaller size, I then set it aside.
In another clean dry bowl, I chopped the fresh tomatoes into smaller pieces.
I transfer them into a Wash clean pot. I pour in half cup of water into the tomatoes and set up and light up my cooker.
At this point, it was ready, I put it in a juicer blender and grinded it. Now it was completely ground.
I place a clean pan on a cooker, l added the require quantity of oil on the pan. When the cooking oil got hot, I added ginger and green chillies which I had finely chopped and kept stirring it slowly with a spoon.
After that, I filtered it so that the peel and seeds were separated. I use cloth and seive it well.
I put the filtered solution back into the pot, placed it on a low heat, and added salt, red chili powder, and sugar to taste.
I added half a cup of vinegar to it and kept stirring it slowly with a spoon so that it does not burn from the bottom and I also kept the flame low.
Now the ginger chili tomato ketchup is ready. To make a design on it, I cut the ginger into long strips and also cut the green chili into rounds to make a flower-shaped design.
Present your final homemade ketchup to make it look attractive and well-prepared. Also use your name tag and date written on a paper.

From the explanation of my teacher,I can to realise that ginger plays a very important role in digesting food. It enters the stomach and eliminates acidity and makes food digestible. Green chilies are rich in antioxidants that fight diseases and keep the body healthy. In addition, they provide protection against colds and various types of infections.
