Life is like a stage of illusion
How are you all? I hope that wherever you are, you are doing well and healthy. Today, while sitting on the balcony and looking at the sky, some random thoughts came to mind. I thought, let me share these thoughts with you instead of keeping them to myself. Life is really strange, isn't it? In this daily hustle and bustle, demands and rat race, we often forget why we are here.

The wonderful thing you said—"We are playing our own roles on this stage of the world"—is not a common saying, but an extremely constant truth of life. If we pay attention, we will see that from birth to death, each of us is a talented actor. Sometimes we are obedient children, sometimes responsible parents, and sometimes we are acting like successful people in the eyes of society. This world around us is a huge theatre or stage, and we are all performing there according to our own script. The most interesting thing is that none of us knows when this drama will end.
From this deep feeling, I unconsciously wrote a few lines. I don't know how you will feel, but I am sharing it:
We are all temporary guests,
Playing a strange game,
Someone's defeat is someone's victory song.
When morning comes, we put on masks,
We change that familiar face,
Some seek the power of power,
Some just a little happiness.
By the pull of an invisible thread,
Everyone is dancing in a skilful rhythm,
We are lost in the whirlwind of Maya,
We are stuck in the smell of achievement.
The stage is beautifully decorated,
The lights are sparkling all around,
Someone is spinning like a king,
Someone is sighing in his heart.
But when the curtain comes down,
All the songs will end,
Everyone will have to return alone,
This petty pride will end.
Why all this fighting then?
Why all this factionalism?
One day,
All our footprints will be mixed with the dust of the stage.
At the end of the day, in this theatre,
no one is anyone's,
when the last light goes out,
Another identity will begin.

In fact, we get so engrossed in this drama of life that we forget that there is a world beyond the screen. When we act, it seems like this is eternal. However, when the makeup is removed at the end of the drama, it is seen that we all have the same destination. Everything that we are so proud of today, that we are belittling others for the sake of position or honour, is just props or decorations on this stage. They will not go with us when we get off the stage.
I think that since we have come to play on this stage, why don't we play beautifully? Why can't our acting be a little more humane? At the end of the day, the world is not a place of victory and defeat, but a place to leave some beautiful memories. I believe that just as a good actor's job is to leave a mark on the minds of the audience, a good person's job is to leave a mark of love in this fleeting world. May everyone be well, and bring a little smile to the people around them.
