Mother’s Day? Every Day is Mother’s Day

A mother is not just a person in our life. She is comfort, sacrifice, prayer, and unconditional love all in one soul. In our culture, mothers are respected deeply, not because of one special day, but because their role can never truly be measured.

Mother’s Day reminds people to appreciate their mothers, but the truth is that a mother deserves love and respect every single day. She wakes up early for her children, worries silently, hides her own pain, and keeps giving without expecting anything in return. Many times, we become so busy in life that we forget the person who made our childhood beautiful with her care and prayers.

In Islam, the status of a mother is incredibly high. We are taught that paradise lies under the feet of the mother. This alone shows how important and honorable she is. A mother’s prayer can change a person’s life, and her tears can break even the strongest heart. Religion teaches us not only to love our mothers but to serve them, respect them, and speak to them with kindness.

Sometimes a mother does not need expensive gifts or social media posts. She only wants time, attention, and love from her children. Sitting beside her for a few minutes, asking about her health, or simply saying “I love you” can mean more to her than anything else in the world.

There are many people whose mothers are no longer with them. Those people understand the real value of a mother even more deeply because once her voice disappears from the house, a strange emptiness stays forever. A mother’s place can never be replaced.

So instead of celebrating mothers for only one day, we should try to make every day feel special for them. Respect her while she is alive, listen to her prayers carefully, and never take her presence for granted. Because no love in this world is more pure, honest, and selfless than a mother’s love.
