Walking Before Iftar & Crispy Rewards 🍽️🌙
Hello hi how are you community members.
Today was one of those Ramadan days where the energy goes up and down.
Before iftar, I decided not to just sit and wait for Maghrib. The last 20–25 minutes feel the longest when you are fasting. So I went outside for a light walk. The weather was calm, not too hot, and honestly the fresh air helped a lot.
My legs were feeling slightly heavy because fasting really tests your stamina. But I kept walking slowly around my area. Nothing intense. Just simple steps, simple thoughts. Sometimes Ramadan walks feel different… more peaceful, more quiet.
By the time I came back home, I had completed around 6,842 steps. Not a huge number, but considering I was fasting, I think it’s good enough. Small consistency is better than big excuses.
Then came the best part — Iftar time.
As soon as the Azan started, first sip of water… pure relief. Today’s iftar was simple but satisfying. Crispy samosas, pakoras, and fried potato slices with red chutney and white raita. Golden, crunchy, and full of flavor. After a full day of fasting, even simple snacks feel like a feast.
But honestly, the best feeling wasn’t the food. It was sitting together and sharing everything.
Ramadan really teaches gratitude. When you stay hungry all day, you understand the value of even a small plate of food.
Alhamdulillah for strength to fast. Alhamdulillah for food. Alhamdulillah for another active day.

Congratulations!
