ColorChallenge - Monday Red - hot air ballooning in Laos
I am scared of heights
So it was one of those face-your-fears moments when I took a hot air balloon ride in Laos (especially given the lack of emergency service infrastructure in this country!). My hands hurt from white-knuckle gripping the basket the whole time, but I'm glad I did it!

Beautiful! It's one of my dreams to go on a hot air balloon. Must have been amazing to do it somewhere like Laos :)
It was incredible :) Although the balloon itself was covered in patches, which was a bit disconcerting..!
Oh wow... that would totally faze me :/ But I imagine that's probably very normal practice to repair the balloons

Ooh yeah me too! in the UK there's a balloon festival in Bristol, in the river gorge there. I haven't seen it yet but it's meant to be spectacular
