After awhile even as fantastic as the ocean is does it get a little boring to take pictures of. This must be one of those days. Also try and open the picture to its own tab. There is a lot of detail that the reduced post size picture can't show. The large image is more impressive.
That is valid feedback. And I do appreciate feedback. With my newer camera I’d have 4K video that I could choose the best still but this was taken before I had that newer camera.
I doubt better quality will give it better feels. It's about composition; it needs something more. If you aim for minimalism, then i get it.
But please don't make a video and then choose image from it, its just....wrong.

Indeed it got better. But it's just too generic.
I would like the wave on the right if it was shot 0.2 sec before.

these kind of pics are okay on a small screen, but on my 4K screen i can see that none of those gulls are in focus :(
