Color Challenge, Wednesday - Yellow: Beautiful Wild Flowers

20180102_092605.jpg

These bright yellow beauties caught my eye on my way home from a visit to my niece, the day after the New year. It was early morning, still over cast after the heavy rainstorm of the night before. I enjoy taking photographs of flowers with either dew or rain on them, especially in the early mornings.

My children often joke, telling me I am like the Chinese Tourists which visits our country, always busy taking photographs of nearly everything. We stopped about seven times for me to take photographs of different objects which captured my attention while driving.

**This plant is a weed, and the yellow flowers have four heart shaped petals. The flowers forms a clusters of about 5-6 flowers right at the tip of the stem. They are about 30-50 cm tall and the leaves grows directly from the stem. **
