Budgies

A yellow or white budgie can appear as a normal bird or as an opaline. The difference lies in the layout of the drawings, not in the intensity of them.

Color lines

In the budgies there are two lines of color, green and blue. Inside the green line are the green and yellow ones, an exception of the rostral ones that belong to the blue line and inside the blue line are the blue and white ones. Genetics in color lines are dominant for green and recessive for blue.

Lutinos

They are budgies with a green line. The whole body is completely yellow, the eyes are red, the pink legs, the orange bill and the waxy of the adult males are pink.
