I've only watched Robert Downey Jr. and thought he is great.
One of the funniest things I heard was the fact that the most American Superheroes, Batman and Superman, were being played by Brits.
At the same time, the most British hero, Sherlock Holmes, was being played by a Yank.
You are absolutely right . and you should watch Benedict Cumberbatch in Sherlock Holmes Season you will enjoy the show and his acting skills .and in my opinion Benedict Cumberbatch is better as Sherlock than Robert Downey Jr.
