Scarcity, Abundance, The Law of Attraction, and A Special Thank You to My Friend @dbzfan4awhile
Thank You My Friend
@dbzfan4awhile heard one of my songs, Winter, and sent me a message saying my song inspired him to write a short story!
I was so moved that my music could inspire someone to write a story and so incredibly happy when he received the Curie trail for his story!
His story is called “Little Red Riding Hood V. 2.0 - A Fairy Tale from a Reverse Perspective.
It’s a fantastic piece and I’ve posted it here so that you can read it!
Little Red Riding Hood V. 2.0 - A Fairy Tale from a Reverse Perspective
So, a week later I was sitting at my computer and I saw a Steemit message pop up saying that I had received quite a large amount of SBD from @dbzfan4awhile.
I was deeply moved by his grand gesture of generosity.
My first instinct was to send it back because it was so much and I wanted him to keep all of his Curie earnings that he had truly earned with his wonderful story, but I didn’t want to be rude!
We were chatting in discord and he mentioned spreading some of that SBD love around to some minnows. I love this idea. A couple weeks ago I received SBD from @jrhughes with a note saying how much she appreciated my posts and it inspired me to start doing the same thing.
Generosity, selflessness, sharing, support, and helping others is really what life is all about.
The Law of Attraction
I believe people come into your life for a reason and DBZ's actions and words are in alignment with what I have been working on for the last 2 years.
Scarcity vs. Abundance
It is so easy to stay in the mindset of scarcity when you don’t have much in life.
You feel desperate to hold on to what you have and your focus is always trying to get more.
But that mindset only brings more scarcity.
The energy of life is an input/output system.
You must give in order to receive.
Holding on to what you have only clogs your system.
Living with the mindset of abundance brings greater rewards on all levels.
The law of attraction is always at work.
The energy that you send out will be the energy that you receive.
So, thank you @dbzfan4awhile for your generosity and reminding me of what is important in life.
@isaria
I read his story when he posted it, I thought it was a really interesting perspective on that well known fairy tale.
Yes, such a great story!
Thank you @amberyooper, I just write the stories to give a different perspective to the tale and a more 3-Dimensional take on the characters.
This is awesome (and I loved that Red Riding Hood v2 story as well).
I am very much a believer in law of attraction. This makes total sense to me @isaria.
Me too, it's always wonderful to find like-minded people on Steemit!
Thank you @isaria, I truly am humbled by your words. You deserve all that you get, and the best that is. Your music took me down that path.
What everyone needs to consider on Steemit is that it's all about community and coming together to make a better world. If you are willing to share, karma will return it 10-fold. I have seen this already on a smaller scale.
So, in essence, true generosity leads to greater rewards. Besides, I think it feels really good to be able to give to others when I don't do so enough in real life.
Thank you Isaria for saying these kind words. It is beyond measure what you have meant to Steemit.
This goes to so many others too. There are so many good people that give their time and energy without any direct return... these are those returns.
Thank you everyone for being awesome.
So true JJ and you deserve the best as well!!! Generosity brings great rewards and makes the world a better place!
You are very welcome. I think Steemit and MSP and PAL bring out the best in me.
Me too <3
This is so true, when you give you get back :)
You are amazing friend
<3
Awwwww this is the kind of thing that makes msp great ❤
