Hello Steamers, Hope you all are well, I am too. Today is my new video. International Mother Language Day (International Mother Language Day in English) is a day celebrated annually worldwide to raise public awareness of culture and multilingualism. 21 February is celebrated as International Language Day. On November 17, 1999, UNESCO declared February 21 as International Mother Language Day for the first time. After that, official recognition was given by the United Nations General Assembly and in 2008, the decision was taken to celebrate this day as International Mother Language Day. It should be noted that, due to the majority of the Bengali nation, they expressed their intention to make Bengali the state language, but Muhammad Ali Jinnah declared Urdu as the official and state language of Pakistan. As a result, on February 21, 1952, four young Bengalis, Rafiq, Salam, Jabbar and Barkat, sacrificed themselves to make this great cause a success, and lost their lives in the gunfire of the Pakistani army for the sake of the Bengali language.
