SC-S26W3/ Video Editing; Introduction to Audio in CapCut
How are you all? I hope you are all doing well. Today I am participating in the contest SC-S26W3/ Video Editing; Introduction to Audio in CapCut organized by @anailuj1992.
I haven’t been very active on Steemit lately because I have been unwell and visiting the hospital, so I decided to make a short motivational video with my own clips and pictures from those visits. First I read the contest post carefully and remembered the tools we learned in earlier weeks. For my practical entry I used those tools and made one short edit.

I opened CapCut and created a new project, then imported seven clips and pictures that I had taken during my hospital visits — moments like going to the hospital, receiving medicines, and small quiet times there. After adding them to the timeline I muted the original audio of each clip so the raw camera sounds would not I tapped on mute clip .
Next I added the Steemit logo as an overlay: Overlay → Add overlay → selected the Steemit logo from my gallery, positioned it on the screen and extended it across the entire timeline so the logo shows throughout the video.

Then I recorded my voice directly inside the editor. I used Audio → Record (mic icon), waited for the countdown and said the required intro, “Hello, I am hudamalik20 on Steemit,” and After finishing the recording I saved the audio. I trimmed my clips with Split/Scissor to remove shaky or unnecessary parts so the video flows smoothly.

For background music I downloaded a motivational instrumental from Pixabay and imported it into CapCut via Audio → Sounds → Your device, then added it to the timeline. I trimmed the music to match the video length and applied Fade In (about 1 second) and Fade Out (about 2 seconds) so the music starts and ends smoothly.
To balance the sound I set the music volume to around 30 so it stays in the background and kept my voice volume (around 40) so the narration is clear. While previewing I lowered the music even more in parts and raised it slightly in montage moments where there is no narration — this made the emotional and always audible.

After adjusting small timing and volume details I watched the whole video from start to finish. When I was happy with the result I exported the file (1080p, 30fps) and saved it to my gallery. I also uploaded a copy to YouTube and will share the link with everyone.
I chose motivational music because I wanted this reel to give me strength so later, as I recover, I can watch it and remember how strong I was during those hospital visits.

I hope you like my edit and the effort I put into it. I followed the contest rules: all media are my own, I used my real voice with no modification, and I applied only the tools I actually used. Thank you for watching my entry I hope it inspires someone who may be going through a hard time.
That's it from today’s blog. I hope you liked it. With best wishes. Now I would like to invite:
@neelofer, @norat, @yhudy to participate in this amazing contest.

Hello amiga
Hello my friend yes, this class was really very useful, I also enjoyed learning how to add audio to the videos. About the Steemit logo, I had placed it on the top but because of the video it was not showing properly, so I placed it on the right side. Thanks for your kind words and best of luck to you too 🤗🌼🌸
