Research Exercise: The Psychological Operation Known as Max Spiers
Max Spiers, the messianic half-alien investigator you never heard of until after his 'mysterious' death, is a media creation. An illusion, intended to achieve numerous psychological objectives with a single international internet operation. Do not be fooled into wasting a lot of time on this. Consider this an exercise.
(I'm not going to include the youtuube links to the bbcstories episodes, go have a look though if you don't have any background. ms spiers also gave a long talk you can find, and she is a fairly incompetent actor so if you know anything about human emotion you will be able to see from just that what I'm going to reason from several angles.
I have always thought something was stinky about the entire Max Spiers, everything, basically. I watched the video of his speech and he simply wasn't saying anything, it was like babbling.
Some basic rubrik attitudes towards the entire process:
-spectacular claims must be backed up by spectacular evidence
-the truth can have one or two elements of bullshit, maybe three, in the way ancient statues of great masters can have a few dents or have some exaggerated features. But if there are a dozen bullshit elements, you can stop looking for truth in the pile.
Elements of compelling truth to Max Spiers story:
-he appears to have consistently worn leather jackets and had a musutache, and presented himself as a great leader of some kind.
Elements of bullshit to Max Spiers story:
-all of it, basically. if you want to save time, none of Max Spiers entire life passes the bullshit test, whatsoever, at all. If anyone can't see this, I kindof worry about them. Talking about it much is a waste of time, but as an exercise, I will demonstrate my process when it comes to credibility.
But if I'm asked to go into some detail:
-never researched anything, work is completely underwhelming, unfocused, rambling, incoherent, in every way consistent with an utter bullshit artist
-claimed to have super powers, never demonstrated
-mom going on tv and giving presentations, sadness not convincing, 'under legal restraint', talking about his years and years and years of research, 'we've got the background to max, well some of it.', faked sadness, obvious bullshit artist, actual story of the night of his death brushed over
-no reason to be in poland, no verifiable friends, associations are bizarro like quantum psychics etc.
-woman who was last with him can't be found, has only one address associated with her name, monica whatever.
-very little evidence of life prior to being famous, or reason for being famous
-no real reason to be in poland
-ridiculous response by authorities
-human interest stories the world over soak up all the bullshit, repeat it, contributes to general overall atmosphere of woo woo, watch out spooky stuff happening, and the honeypot websites demonstrate interest which is calculated into whatever super database monitors subcultures for global spy services.

and maxspiers.com has all google tracking. ton of pictures that could be anyone to prove he existed, which they dont. the face on his 20 year old picture has a strange chin artifact. all sketchy, glitchy.
So here were are. Before I even did the digg, I was like, 'oh boy, please be one of the hosts that is obviously associated with the united states government, pretty please.'
Bluehost is in utah, and you might recognize this is near to the huge nsa storage facility, AND they are reported to be the first to censor when told to by the u.s. state department. Bluehost is like the VOA of web hosting lol. There are tons of web hosts that are known to be much more independent, more suited to anyone actually doing independent research.
So basically all of this is bullshit, all of it. It's obvious intention is to track and study what will happen if other people die mysterious deaths, intimiate, and to sap energy and attention away from other issues.
Psychological operations disinform, obfuscate, distract, and then give opportunity for studies of communities and individuals.
This is obviously one of them. Keep your eye out for other similar operations. If you read my blog you would already be onto a handful here on steemit itself.
Being able to discern who is surveilling you or using lies to get closer to you, is a key aspect of privacy.
Wouldn't you say protecting and distancing yourself from spies is a pretty big part of your privacy? That having a spy in your actual house might not be very good privacy?

Also, newsweek, a known disinformation site, is warning about Russian trolls. So on reddit, which is heavily trolled, newsweek, which is run by trolls under fbi investigation, warns about yet more trolling from russia, which is interfering with all of its trolling.

But anyone who says that russia(and israel and privatesec and the cia/fbi/nsawhatever) is not making a bunch of fake bullshit accounts to make accounts like mine, run by actual individuals, appear less credible is living in a fantasy.
So it stands to reason that unless you are aware of some of them and know what they look like, then you are probably being fooled by them as we speak.

However I'm not getting into it.
It's so incredibly unbelievable and while true, light years beyond absurd.
The thing is you're both not far off in some of your conclusions, in a way, but still at the same time, you're a million miles away from the truth.
(Maybe one can't really know it - really know - and be, at the same time.
Still many more have significant knowledge of it but are silent such that, to extents, it could even be called a "Pulcinella's secret".)
It makes no sense and, in a way, just by discussing it one can be falling into a trap of giving attention and consciousness to some limit point extent (or limitlessly) sick and insane beings of this world, as they desire one to.
(I don't particularly mean attention to Max Spiers there, but also, on his best day he would agree that it could be at the same time appropriate to mean him. While he did not desire that.
A paradox, of so many paradoxes, which is part of a deep, deep world created intentionally not to make sense and to torture, warp and destroy.)
If you bother to try to make any sense of what I'm writing, you might find this kind of description could agree with the subject and title of your article, like some kind of mind game maybe as research.
But that's not what I mean.
At the same time, in ways very different to what you mean in your article and in a minor way, your article subject is also spot on, though the truth is more complex yet.
Anyway, maybe it's enough to say it all makes no sense.
