Tattoo's Tattoo's Tattoo's!!!! And a contest did you say?
Hey everyone! I am back from a busy month and I am excited to share some news with you all ^_^
To start, I would like to share with you the most recent excitement I have had, which was yesterday evening.
Can you guess what it is? Of course you can, TATTOO'S BABY!
Yesterday my ever so awesome friend came over to work her skills on us 3 women. She got down and personal with each of us using her master skills to make our skin beautiful.
An exciting day for sure, wouldn't you say?
Her name is Shelby Legue. She has been in the industry for over 10 years with a 4 year apprenticeship. This beautiful and kind woman has great experience and definitely knows her stuff when it comes to the science of skin and art. I highly recommend her!
Ok, so I couldn't just talk about her without showing any of her great work right. So, yes, I am a absolutely going to show you what's up!
Here is an image of one of her recent works of art. (All images are hers and has given permission for me to share ^_^)
Ok, Ok! I will share another one, or even a few, no need to twist my arm :D
See what I mean? She's awesome! And last night, I was finally able to get my first Shelby experience. Wanna see? Wanna see??? We'll you are gonna see because I am going to show you... Unless you click away, close the page, then you wont get to. But this is the Shizz nizz! Of course you won't click away!
But first, I want to show you the other work she has done before she got to me.
The first person to go under the needle was my friend Nathalie. She hasn't had any ink done in over 10 years. I want to say 15, I think she told me 15 but I'm not all sure on that. She had forgotten what it felt like and was really excited to get this tattoo done.
I love that style of writing and wings and feet are just so cute!
Next, my niece got her 2nd Shelby tattoo done. Small and yet so cute! It is a meaningful tattoo as I too got the same one done. A link we share together in this life.
And here is mine to match!
And a video of her doing it ^_^ It was a simple and painless one so it was no troubles watching her do it and film it.
They are small and cute tattoos for the day but the big one is saved for last. The juicy part :p
The most painful part I have to say was the top. The close it got to the bone the more painful it got. It felt like a leg cramp without the cramp and it was as though the needles went bone marrow deep at times. Probably because of the vibrations. But like Shelby said, feel the burn! Nothing I couldn't handle.
Now with all this tattoo talk and the excitement it brought up, it got me in the mood to do another tattoo contest.
Sharing tattoos and their stories has always been a fun thing. Bringing up memories that we tend to forget, like how I sometimes make funny noises as I go through the pain. Or maybe how you lost that bet and had to get a silly tattoo, branding you the loser. Or that most awesome win and you treated yourself some skin art for you to share with the world, a most awesome trophy.
I want to know about your tattoos. Share one or share many, it is up to you, although you must make it clear which one you want as the main one for the contest. Write a post about it so I can resteem your awesomeness and upvote, and
send me the link in the comment sections so I don't lose sight of you. The contest will end after the 7 day mark.
The winnings is to be determined through the amount of post pay-out. There will also be the chance to win SBI as well.
So go be awesome and show off your stuff!
While talking about contests, have you heard about the PHC Top 3 Contest? It's a monthly contest that is about to start again (the 1rst) going into the 3rd month of this quite successful contest. Want to know about it? Check out the @phctop3 account. Wanna know what the chances of your winnings could be? Check out the latest post, winners announcement
It is a fun contest with a different topic every month. Everyone can join in. It is the growing prize pool that makes it most interesting and the fact that you can also share what you like makes it AWESOME! ---That is the word for today btw.
Keep an eye out for the next one to come, in only just a few days :D
Ok! I wanna see those tattoo's people! This is exciting! GO! GO! GO!
I love looking at beautiful tattoos--on other people's bodies. I have none of my own, but I have seen awesome tattoos. And then I've seen gawdy ones. I think they are best when they are subtle.
I enjoy looking at tattoo's as well, I have a few magazines in my library. I think when the art is good and flows with the body, it makes it the ultimate tattoo and can be most amazing.
I'm not particularly fond of the full-body or all-back tattoos. I just don't understand all that much ink, even if the tattoos are beautiful. I like them best when they stick to one part of the body--forearm, upper arm, ankle, lower back, etc. And then they have to be eye-catching and unique. If the tattoo only makes sense to the person wearing it, I don't get the point of that either.
People get tattoos for various reasons and some being on a more personal experience. It depends on the person and on their life events. To some tattoos are healing, it gives closure and thus people can move forward.
Sometimes tattoos have to be big in order to get all the details needed to make the image clear. Too small and things will be left out and wont look as nice. So many technical things when it comes to tattoos.
Our bodies become a canvas, a walking piece of art, telling stories without (or sometimes with) words. The important part is that the tattoos we get make us happy :)
Yay! That buzz is so addicting, now you've given me the itch again. ;) She really is an amazing artist. That first one is really cool, but you can tell the quality in all of them. I absolutely adore the matching tattoo with your niece. So stinking cute, but more so that you shared that experience together! The leg piece is so intricate, as well. The shading and highlighting is fantastic.
Hhhmm, now I have to decide which one of mine to share next... ;)
Buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzzzz buuuuuuuuuuuuuuuzzzz :D
The coloring and style of the first one is really sweet. My eye always catches that one.
My niece and I share love for foxes, we have created a bond over the years that made us get close and now we seal it with this cute tat. I am so happy to share this with her!
The hard part with the leg piece is the healing and the sleeping. I sleep on my side, same side as the tat so I didn't have a good nights sleep because of that. Hoping tonight is better. I am not looking forward to the itching phase!
Thanks for checking out my post and I am excited to see which one you will share next!!! WOOHOO!!

Uff...I could feel the pain. I am kind of totally scared of getting inked after watching my friend getting tattooed he was in deep pain he drew a bigger one I think he called flying Angels.
Still looking at theses art I would say, it is done masterly...,👍

Flying Angels sounds very interesting. Pain is different for everyone and also in different places of the body. The easiest places are just above the ankles, forearms... the thigh wasn't that bad either. There are certainly some areas that were more sensitive though.
She's awesome and pays good attention to what she does ^_^
I know many people can bear it...my friend has whole body inked....with so many different paintings..

Damn, I think I'm in love <3 Those are some of the coolest tats I've seen. Like seriously, I particularly love the one you and your niece got, it's so small and delicate...and the skeletons this woman does...man, oh man :O Love it.
Don't have a picture of mine right now, but I gotta say you just got me wanting to go back to that tattoo place :D
I am glad you think so! I am right with you on that!
Write a post about your tattoo and share it here to be part of the contest. I would love to see it.
I always want to go back for another tattoo :p The ideas are there, just not the money ... at least for how as often as I would go :P
Cool yeah, I think I'll write one ;) You really inspired me to do it :D
I hear that :)) If I had the money (and the skin) I'd be in there all day :D
Right on! Exciting stuff :D
Looking forward to seeing it ^_^
Hey :D So, I decided to join the contest (with the first photo in the post) :)
https://steemit.com/tattoos/@honeydue/inked
Thanks for getting me to write this - it was fun!
Woohoo! Going to check it out shortly! Thanks for joining in :D
Aaaaand she's back!
@foxyspirit those are beautiful and I love the twin tats you and your neice have.
As for me, not one. Nix. Never. Needle phobia as I think I've told you, so this one I'll pass.
Thank you! Yes I remember you telling me about your phobia. It's not for everyone. Thanks for coming by!
Wow, she is really talented! The detail, shading and colors are amazing! Love your matching tattoo :) It will be fun to see what everyone shares!
I know right! I am excited to see what people will share as well ^_^
Those matching tats are ADORBS! You're right, the tattoo artist is wicked gifted. I've wanted ink for ages, and while hubby has sketched out the beginnings of a potential tat, that's about as far as it's gone. Excellent idea for a contest though, and best of luck with it, @foxyspirit!
Thanks Traci! I know one of my tattoos in the making, my back piece really that needs finishing, took me over 10 years to finally decide to get it. How I wanted it to look and what I wanted it to represent was a hard thing and I didn't want just any artist to help me with that. Taking our time on deciding a tattoo is a good thing :)
Thank you for resteeming!
Wow...cool 😊👍👌🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
Most definitely!
you are welcome :)
