RE: Puzzle Contest #11 - First to get all the correct answers wins 10 SBD, all attempts will receive an upvote.
We have reached the end of Puzzle Contest #11. I would like to congratulate @cryptobserver as the first person to provide all the correct answers.
The answers to the questions are as follows:
- 72, 24, 48
- 1
- 11, the odd one out is D
- Bill should bet between $15.17 and $15.99 on Sprinter B to have a 100% chance of winning the $1M prize. After rounding upwards, the answer is $16
I will be posting the explanations in another post very soon.
I would also like to thank all those that participated for their time and effort. I will have another contest in a few days time.
I think You have to review about 100 %. 100 % if he has record 13/0, not 12/1. It's not mathematical logic.
think about the task. It isnt 100% certain that Sprinter B wins, but if Bill bets between $15.17 and $15.99 it is 100% certain that he will have more money than Jack and therefore he will win certainly.
it's like You Throwing dice. If you throw a single dice, then it can fall six ways, each of which is equally likely if the dice is true. So the probability of getting one particular value is 1/6.
