Day 19 - Nutrient Shortages Predicted as Cannabis Declared Non-Essential
The title pretty much says it all. This is nothing like the Canada I grew up in 30 years ago. In 2020, we're running low on food, but spending precious resources prohibiting a plant that produces ALL the essential amino acids AND fats humans require!

Aside from a few content-creators, there's not much left here on Steem! I guess a lot of the active uploaders shifted over to Hive?
We didn't have a lot of money to prepare for this thing we knew was coming, in general for a decade, and specifically for the weeks leading up to it. We were very wise to buy vitamins as one of our first purchases.
Sounds like when they bought up all the grain to cause a famine to start the French revolution...
My own family hardly gives a fuck about the inability to buy cannabis. They're some of the people laughing at pot shops being deemed essential. I'm so sad at the rhetoric parrotting sheep that love the system more than family.
I wonder if they made cannabis essential (briefly) so that the mainstream could react, joke, and then forget about it. After a few days, they less-noisily change cannabis to non-essential. If anybody complains, it's just those brain-dead lazy paranoid dirty non-credible potheads again.
