The Opinion Crimes of the XXI Century

The Opinion Crimes are typical of the dictatorial regimes, whether of the right or of the left. However, in the most advanced democracies of the western world this type of crime has been reintroduced in the Criminal Codes of some countries. The same leaders who boast of saying that they respect Freedom of Expression are those who promote and support laws that punish anyone who thinks differently.

The apology for serious crimes such as genocide; incitement to hatred, discrimination and violence are strongly punished in the 21st century. Even doubting historical facts, which were written by the victors of a war, lacking scientific evidence and reliable testimonies, can put in serious problems any thinking being that only differs in the number of mortal victims.

Editing books on Historical Revisionism is also considered a crime. However, a current of thought is pursued while allowing another, which has traditionally been more violent and devastating, to continue spreading its ideas through all print and digital media without any kind of restraint. It is evident that the "Power behind Power" is who manages the future of the world.
