I think the announcement by Coinbase has sparked something we have not really seen before; now assets are becoming uncorrelated to bitcoin and each other. Today has been a good example as we see some of the coins thought to be those in Coinbase trade higher versus those that are not expected to be so. This could lead to a more diversified market where assets are priced/valued on their own merit while being untethered to bitcoin and the overall market.
