Genesis Mining Hit With Cease And Desist

A Cease and Desist Order has been issued to Genesis Mining from the Atorney General Office securities division in South Carolina.

According to the state of South Carolina, Genesis Mining has been offering investment contracts to residents of the state, without legal authority, and has been ordered to cease offering their cloud mining service immediately.

Genesis Mining, who claim to be the world's largest cloud miner, are a Hong Kong based company and have their mining facilities in Iceland, Canada and Bosnia.

Genesis Mining is yet to make a statement, reffering to the Cease and Desist.
